The new special series, which is a homage to the 1957 Italian icon, is being introduced to the press today. Mopar® will be taking part in the event hosted in the historical Centro Storico Fiat building in Turin by presenting an exclusive collection of merchandise which will be available for purchase from dealers and from the store.fiat.com website.
After the world preview at the recent Geneva Motor Show, Fiat has picked the Centro Storico to reveal the new 500 Vintage '57 to the international press. The new special series pays homage to the 1957 Italian icon and the location chosen for the launch event could not be more appropriate. Since 1963 the historical building has housed a permanent exhibition which illustrates the establishment and the technological, social and economic development of Fiat by presenting all aspects of Fiat's history through its huge document archives.
Mopar® - the reference brand for services, customer care, genuine spares and accessories for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles - will be proudly taking part in the event and presenting a collection of merchandise dedicated to the new 500 Vintage '57. The high quality products all play on the characteristic rounded shapes of the 'Cinquino', as the classic 500 was playfully dubbed, like the unusual desk lamp, for instance. The body colours are re-interpreted for fashion to decorate handbags and T-shirts inspiring likeability, joy of living and more, all in the most authentic 500 spirit. The collection is available from dealers and online from the Fiat e-store.
In addition to the special merchandise collection, Mopar offers a number of exclusive services for Fiat 500 Vintage '57 customers, like 'Mopar Vehicle Protection' for the utmost peace of mind. All service contracts - the only ones guaranteed by FCA - include broad coverage on mechanical parts and specific servicing plans in addition to maintenance and repairs carried out by specialised technicians using original spare parts only.
Furthermore, new Vintage '57 customers can rely on the 'Ciao Fiat Mobile' app for information and help on the go. The Fiat mobile app is available in five languages and in 15 countries across Europe. It can be downloaded free of charge from Apple Store and Google Play. Worth mentioning is certainly @Fiat Care, the Twitter channel on which a team of dedicated operators answer servicing-related questions of customers from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
In brief, Mopar is ready to support the new Vintage '57 special series providing the professionalism of years of after sales experience. This leadership will certainly contribute to the success of a model of which over 1.5 million have registered from 2007 until today in the over 100 countries worldwide where it is marketed, included the United States.
